LG stops supply of products to Russia

After the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, a number of large companies have announced to cut off supplies to Russia, including Microsoft, Qualcomm, Intel, AMD, Samsung, etc.

On March 19, LG issued a brief announcement on its official website, announcing that it was suspending the supply of products to Russia.

LG said it has suspended shipments to Russia and will continue to monitor developments closely. LG is deeply concerned about the health and safety of all and remains committed to supporting humanitarian relief efforts.

Although LG has left the mobile phone industry, it is still a major force in the electronics field, producing a variety of home appliances such as TVs, air conditioners, and refrigerators.

Moreover, Samsung, also a South Korean manufacturer, announced as early as March 5 that it would suspend supplies to Russia. Samsung also said it would donate $6 million to Ukraine’s humanitarian efforts, including $1 million in consumer electronics.
