AMD Threadripper Pro 5995WX exceeds 64-core Snapdragon processor in CPU benchmark platform

A few days ago, AMD officially released the Threadripper PRO 5000 WX series workstation processors, upgraded to the Zen3 architecture, including the 12-core 24-thread 5945WX to the 64-core 128-thread 5995WX.

Now, the 64-core Threadripper Pro 5995WX has become the new top of the benchmarking platform PassMark, surpassing the 64-core Snapdragon server processor EPYC7763 released last year, and 28% higher than the previous generation 3990WX.

Moreover, the PassMark platform tests multiple capabilities of the CPU, including floating-point performance and compression performance, and presents scores in a comprehensive manner.

Furthermore, AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000 WX series processors use the “Zen 3” architecture to support AMD PRO enterprise security features, manageability, and scalability.

Officially, the Threadripper PRO 5000 WX series processors are designed to handle the most complex professional workloads, enabling 8K rendering and editing to give professionals a competitive edge. The Threadripper PRO 5000 WX-series processors were first introduced in the Lenovo ThinkStation P620 workstation.
