1. CHECK THE INTERNET CONNECTION

Amazon Fire TV Stick requires a stable Internet connection to get a perfect experience. If your internet connection becomes slow or malfunctions, you will encounter errors currently available on your device. Most Streamin services recommend at least a 10 Mbps connection for 1080p content, and at least a 20 Mbps connection for streaming 4K content.

Check the following factors that might affect the internet speed on the device.

  • If other devices (connected to the same Wi-Fi network) are downloading large files, it might affect the Fire TV Stick operations.
  • Is there interference between your Wi-Fi router and the Fire TV Stick? Thick walls, long distances, and wireless signals from other devices could hamper the connection.
  • Does your ISP throttle video streams? Some internet service providers deliberately slow down internet speed to reduce bandwidth consumption.

Second, there are no barriers between the router and the device. Many electrical and mechanical restrictions weaken the Wi-Fi signal.

The internet/LAN wire and the power cable from your Fire Stick power adapter will go into the Ethernet adapter. Then you have to plug a single USB cable from the Ethernet adapter into your Fire TV Stick.

A strong wired connection improves the internet speed and eliminates the chances of a Home is a currently unavailable issue on the user side.

In this case, you will have to reset the router or upgrade the firmware to the latest version available. Try to connect to the Internet and browse the Fire Stick home comfortably.

By default, it decides to connect to the 2.4GHz band. Therefore, connect the Fire TV Stick (especially the 4K model) to the 5GHz band on the Wi-Fi network. The result of the exercise in “Family” is an error that the Fire TV Stick is not currently available.
