Posted on

Last month, Samsung began to release the One UI 3.1 software update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy Tab S7 series. With One UI 3.1, these tablets have gained a number of new productivity features to improve the user experience. Now, the company announced that it will bring a large number of new S Pen features, which are useful for productivity-oriented users.

S Pen features:

Samsung announced that it will release a new software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 duo in the first quarter of this year, which will provide a more continuous experience for its S Pen. Users will be able to use their S Pen instead of the current keyboard input to fill the address box. For example, anything you write in an input field is instantly converted into digital text.

Moreover, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 duo firmware update will include a new pen type for a more natural note-taking experience in Samsung Notes. When users select the “Pen to Text” option, it will allow you to write their handwritten notes and instantly convert them to digital text.

Tip: “Pen to text” will support more than 80 languages, which enables this feature to easily detect any punctuation and spaces when using Samsung Notes.

Easily scan documents with Samsung Notes:

The upcoming software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ will add another feature that lets users scan documents using the Camera app on their devices. Users have to simply tap on the ‘Attach’ icon in the app then they will scan their document and directly start working on the scanned document.

Multi-dimensional Sound With 360 Audio:

At the Galaxy Unpacked 2021, the Korean tech giant introduced the 360 Audio feature along with the Galaxy Buds Pro that lets users enjoy 360-degree surround sound when watching a video on their Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+. The smart motion tracking sensor will pinpoint the direction of the sound of media as users enjoy content on Tab S7 or S7+.
