Realme released the Realme C2 budget smartphone in the second half of 2019. Because of the lowest price, it became one of the best-selling mobile phones at the time.

The company has pre-installed ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 on the device. However, Chinese mobile phone manufacturers have promised to provide at least one major Android upgrade for their phones, and finally fulfill their promises.
