LG has released the ‘QNED Mini LED’ TV, up to 8K 120Hz

According to Forbes, LG has launched the QNED series of Mini LED series TVs, one of which is an 86-inch 8K model with 2500 partition backlights.

LG claims that the contrast ratio of its new QNED series Mini LED TVs can reach 1 million to 1. LG did not announce the price of the series, but the official stated that the series models will be positioned as high-end.

The new Mini LED TV series has 4K and 8K resolution options and supports 120Hz. LG also stated that the QNED series of Mini LED TVs are positioned below LG OLED TVs because each pixel of LG OLED TVs can emit light, while Mini LED TVs to rely on external backlighting.

As per the report, the price of the new QNED series of Mini LED TVs may be between the 2021 Nano cell series and LG’s new C series OLED TVs. LG is supposed to announce more details of this product at CES 2021 starting next month.
