Galaxy Tab S9 FE gets One UI 7 in Europe and SmartThings adds new sleep tools

Samsung

The One UI 7 update is being released for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ in Europe. The new update is powered by Android 15 and features enhanced speed, recent features and enhanced security. People using Apple devices in Austria, France, Germany, and the UK are now able to download the update. The firmware for your phone is X610XXU3CXE2 and it also features the May 2025 security patch.

After rolling out One UI 6.1 to its phones earlier in the year, Samsung is now updating to 6.1.1. One UI 7 will provide Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ users with enhanced flow, better ways to multitask and additional customization choices. The release of One UI 7 for more Samsung phones is expected shortly.

Another thing to mention is that Samsung’s SmartThings app is now better at helping people sleep well. Now, the app can be used with Galaxy Watches to track your sleep details. Because of this information, SmartThings will turn on and off lights and control temperature settings as necessary.

Before bed, you can have your Galaxy phone or tablet manage your SmartThings devices to help you relax. The updates are part of Samsung’s effort to enhance how smart homes can help individuals. With new developments for tablets and SmartThings, Samsung aims to make everyday tasks easier using technology. Look for the newest update for your device in the Settings app if you have a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
