Galaxy Tab A9 gets One UI 7 update, QuickStar fixes clock bug

Samsung

The Android 15-based One UI 7 update is now being released for the Galaxy Tab A9+. You can now enjoy the update in India and several other zones which includes new features, better security and an updated interface. The firmware version X210XXU2CXE1 is included with the May 2025 security patch.

The new update gives the Galaxy Tab A9+ a modern and sleek appearance. One UI 7 aims to improve how animations, the system and apps interact and function. Additionally, it improves privacy and helps users manage their notification settings and what apps do while in the background. To update your tablet, tap on Settings > go to Software update > Download and install.

Furthermore, Samsung has made a new version of the QuickStar module for its Good Lock suite available. This update ensures that the new clock on the status bar doesn’t appear crooked after installing One UI 7. The problem was caused by users who had moved their clock with QuickStar. This was a useful fix, as it means the clock is now perfect, making your UI look more organized.

If you are using QuickStar, update it within the Galaxy Store to prevent any issues with the display after the One UI 7 update. Therefore, with these changes, both the Galaxy Tab A9+ and its customizing experience are boosted and the device overall becomes more stable and simple to use.
