Galaxy A35 gets One UI 7 and new Auto Blocker and One UI Home improvements

Samsung

The company has released the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A35 5G. The updates make A35 the first mid-range device to get the new Android version. Today’s update in the UK is distributed with firmware A356BXXU2BXE2 and is packed with the newest May 2025 security update.

You’ll see improvements in privacy, better animation and better support for multitasking in One UI 7. Many other countries can expect to receive the update from Samsung in the near future.

The Auto Blocker feature from Samsung was given an update to 1.3 as well. Now, this security tool supports Android 16 and One UI 8. This works by stopping dangerous apps from entering your phone, blocking any unauthorized USB usage and preventing app downloads from outside sources. To turn on the Auto Blocker, access your phone’s “Security and Privacy” settings.

Besides, Samsung has newly updated the One UI Home app. The update does not describe exact changes, but it commonly improves the operating system’s performance and makes apps more stable. The update is included in the May 2025 software rollout and can be found on your phone’s app settings or downloaded through the Galaxy Store.

All in all, Samsung is releasing useful updates to enhance device security, enhance usage and improve how its phones function.
