Samsung One UI 8 to improve security and add new music animation

Samsung is working on its next big update—One UI 8 based on Android 16. This version will not only improve the phone’s performance but also add stronger security features to protect users from fraud, scams, and theft.
With One UI 8, Samsung plans to add a new system that can detect and block suspicious activity. This will help stop fake apps, scam messages, and hacking attempts before they can harm your phone. Samsung is also expected to improve app permissions and background activity control, so users can manage what apps do in the background more easily.
Besides security, a leaked video has shown a small but noticeable visual change. The Now Playing bar (the music control at the top of the notification panel) will now show the album art in a blurred background. This makes it look smoother and more modern. Also, a new animation appears when music is playing, making the interface more lively and engaging.
Samsung is expected to reveal One UI 8 later this year during its One UI Beta program, likely starting with the Galaxy S24 series. As always, new features may be added or changed before the final release.
Overall, One UI 8 looks set to improve both the safety and user experience of Galaxy phones with useful features and a refreshed look.
