Galaxy S25 and S24 series get latest update and new selfie video feature

Samsung has started rolling out the May 2025 security update to the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in Europe. This new update improves system security and brings better performance and stability. The firmware version for this update is S926BXXS2AXD3 for the S25+ and S928BXXS2AXD3 for the Ultra model. For now, it’s only available in a few European countries, but it should expand to more regions soon.
Alongside this, Samsung is also introducing a new camera feature called “Selfie Log Video” for some of its premium Galaxy devices. This tool is designed to make vlogging with the front camera easier and more fun. It adds special features like movie-like color filters and better editing options, giving users more creative control over their videos.
The Selfie Log Video feature will first come to the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Samsung is also planning to add it to other recent Galaxy phones such as the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold5, though the exact rollout timeline isn’t confirmed yet.
With the May 2025 update and this new selfie tool, Samsung is aiming to give users both better device performance and a more enjoyable camera experience. If you own a Galaxy S25 or S24 model, it’s a good time to check for updates and explore the new features.
