Samsung is reportedly getting ready to launch the Galaxy S25 FE sometime later this year. The Fan Edition (FE) version of the Galaxy S series usually comes out a bit after the main S lineup, and it offers a more affordable option with many of the same features.

According to a tip from the tech site GalaxyClub, Samsung is already testing a device with the model number SM-S721, which is likely the Galaxy S25 FE. Testing has reportedly started in several regions, including Europe, where the model was seen as SM-S721B.

What’s interesting is that this phone could come with the upcoming One UI 8 software, which is expected to be based on Android 15. Samsung is already working on the One UI 8 update, and the Galaxy S25 FE might be one of the first phones to launch with it out of the box.

If the usual release timeline continues, the Galaxy S25 FE might be announced sometime in the second half of 2025—possibly around October or November. It’s also expected to share some features with the Galaxy S25 series, which will likely launch earlier in the year.

More details about the Galaxy S25 FE and One UI 8 should surface in the coming months as Samsung gets closer to the launch.
