Galaxy phones on One UI 7 get crystal-clear volte calls

One UI 6.1.1

Samsung has joined forces with the GSM Association to boost call quality on Galaxy smartphones and tablets powered by One UI 7.0, built on Android 15. This update automatically activates Voice over LTE (VoLTE), delivering sharp, high-quality calls over 4G and 5G networks without users needing to adjust any settings.

By tapping into the GSMA’s Network Settings Exchange (NSX) platform or using a universal GSMA Profile #4, Samsung ensures VoLTE works seamlessly. The company ran extensive tests to guarantee this feature performs reliably across the millions of Galaxy devices sold annually. The result? Effortless, top-notch voice calls for all users.

This upgrade reflects Samsung’s push to make communication smoother as people depend on fast, stable networks. With VoLTE switched on by default, Galaxy owners can enjoy clearer conversations for personal chats or professional calls, no hassle required.

The One UI 7.0 update is hitting devices like the Galaxy S24, S23, and Z Flip series, with more models set to follow. Samsung’s dedication to enhancing call quality highlights its mission to keep Galaxy devices simple to use and aligned with today’s network demands.
