Samsung phones get fresh updates in March 2025

Samsung is rolling out new changes for some of its phones in March 2025. The Galaxy S21 FE, a popular model, is now getting a security update in the United States. This update keeps the phone safe from bugs and issues, making it run smoothly.
It’s available for users with big carriers like Verizon and Comcast, as well as those with unlocked phones. The update comes with a version number ending in “FXC2” and includes the latest March 2025 safety fixes from Google and Samsung. People can check for it by going to their phone’s settings and looking under “Software Update.”
On the other hand, the Galaxy A55 isn’t so lucky. This phone is missing out on the Android 15 and One UI 7 beta programs, which bring exciting new features. Samsung hasn’t added the A55 to its testing list, even though other models like the Galaxy A54 are included.
Fans expected the A55, launched in 2024, to get these updates since it’s newer and costs more. Sadly, Samsung seems to be focusing only on older or higher-end phones for now. Users hoping to try the latest Android version on their A55 will have to wait longer or miss out entirely. Samsung hasn’t said why the A55 was left out, leaving some owners disappointed. Both stories show how Samsung handles updates differently across its devices.
