Samsung set to reveal new Earphones with Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7

Samsung might surprise everyone at its next big event. Word on the street is that the tech giant could launch a fresh type of earphone in late 2025. There’s talk of Samsung introducing its very first Bone Conduction Earphones. A tip from IceUniverse suggests these earphones will debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7.

The event could happen around July this year, making it an exciting moment for Samsung fans. According to the leak, Samsung calls these earphones “Able.” It’s a big surprise since we’re hearing about them just before they’re expected to show up with the latest foldable phones.

Other brands already sell earphones like these. Unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, which are true wireless earbuds, these Bone Conduction Earphones fall into a category called Open Wireless Studio (OWS). While regular earbuds use speakers inside your ear, OWS earphones work differently. They send sound through the bones in your skull instead of your ear canal. This cool trick has some neat perks for users.

Here’s how it works: small devices turn sound into tiny shakes. Those shakes travel through your skull bones to the cochlea, the part of your ear that hears. It skips the eardrum entirely, which makes it unique. With OWS, your ears stay open to hear what’s happening around you. Plus, they’re super comfy since you don’t have to stuff anything in your ears for hours.

The downside? The sound might not feel as full as it does with regular earbuds because it doesn’t seal into your ear canal. This launch could shake things up for Samsung and its fans. Keep an eye out for more news as the event gets closer!
