Samsung brings February 2025 security update to Galaxy A24
Samsung is sticking to its plan of giving the Galaxy A24 a security update every three months. Right now, the company is sending out the latest update for this quarter to the version of the phone sold in places like Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. This model is known as SM-A245F.
The new update includes the February 2025 security patch, which fixes several problems. You can read more about what it fixes in our special article. The update comes with the version number A245FXXS8CYB1. Samsung will likely bring this update to other versions of the Galaxy A24 and more areas soon.
To see if the February 2025 update is ready for your Galaxy A24, go to Settings, then tap Software update, and choose Download and install. Another option is to visit our firmware page, grab the update file, and use a Windows PC with Odin software to install it.
One UI 7 Coming Soon to Galaxy A24
