Samsung Galaxy S24 receives fresh One UI 7 Beta update in the USA

Wow, that was quick! Samsung just dropped a new One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series in the USA. This update is only for users who signed up their Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra phones for the One UI 7 Beta Program.
What’s New with This Update?
Samsung has rolled out what might be the fifth beta update for One UI 7 on the Galaxy S24 lineup in the USA. It comes with the firmware version S92xU1UEU4ZYBB and takes up about 450MB of space, depending on your device. Right now, it’s available for AT&T and Verizon users. The main fix? It solved a problem where Visual Voicemail (VVM) was crashing. Other than that, there aren’t any big changes or new features.
If your Galaxy S24 is already on the One UI 7 beta, you can check for this update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Is This Beta 5?
Just yesterday, Samsung released the fourth beta update, which was a hefty 1.25GB and brought two new camera tools, bug fixes, and some unlisted tweaks. Then, less than a day later, this smaller 436MB update (for the S24 Ultra) popped up with only the VVM fix. That’s a super short gap—Beta 4 took 45 days to arrive after Beta 3 back in January.
Because of its size and focus, this latest ZYBB update feels more like a quick hotfix than a full fifth beta. Samsung has done this before, pushing small updates to tackle urgent bugs or security hiccups. So, while it’s labeled as Beta 5 in some places, it’s likely just a patch. That doesn’t rule out a proper Beta 5 coming later, though!
What’s Next?
In the Samsung Community, beta testers have been sharing feedback about lingering issues in One UI 7, even after Beta 4. This hotfix handles one complaint, but others might still need work. There’s a slim chance we’ll see another beta—maybe the real Beta 5—as the final test before the official release. For now, this update keeps things running smoother for Galaxy S24 users in the USA!
