One UI 7 Beta 4 restores missing Now Bar options

Back in January, Samsung rolled out the third beta version of One UI 7, which unfortunately took away some handy Now Bar features. They promised these would come back, and with the release of One UI 7 Beta 4, that promise has been fulfilled.
Previously, options like Voice Recorder, Samsung Health, Google Maps, Samsung Notes, and Bixby were missing from the Now Bar. But good news – they’re back! Also, an update to the Google Maps app has added its real-time activity feature back to the Now Bar interface.
What’s New in One UI 7 Beta 4 for Now Bar
This latest beta version reintroduces the Now Bar features that were left out in the previous update. The “Live notifications” feature now includes notifications from a broader range of apps, making it easier to stay on top of things. The Now Bar settings have been updated to include these apps:
- Maps
- Samsung Health
- Voice Recorder
- Samsung Notes
- Interpreter
- Clock
- Emergency sharing
You’ll also find options for the Media Player and Current Mode toggles, which help you control your device’s settings more intuitively. If you’re using a Galaxy S24 running on One UI 7 Beta 4, take a moment to explore these new Now Bar settings. They’re designed to make managing your apps and services more straightforward and enjoyable. This update brings back the convenience and functionality Samsung users have come to expect, enhancing the overall user experience on their devices.
