Samsung is rolling out the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe, following releases in Korea and the US. This update boosts security and makes the phone more stable by fixing several problems, ensuring a smoother experience for users.

The update runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 and is available for Galaxy S24 users not enrolled in the One UI 7 beta program. Those in the beta can look forward to the One UI 7 Beta 4 update soon.

Here are the build versions for the February 2025 security update in Europe:

  • S928BXXS4AYB2 – Galaxy S24
  • S926BXXS4AYB2 – Galaxy S24 Plus
  • S921BXXS4AYB2 – Galaxy S24 Ultra

To install it, users need to download a file of about 470MB. Samsung is working to bring this update to all eligible devices soon. The February 2025 security patch fixes one critical and 34 high-priority Android vulnerabilities, though two of them don’t apply to Galaxy devices. It also includes seven fixes specific to Samsung, improving apps like Samsung Find, Android settings, and other features.

For better security, users should install this update as soon as possible. If you haven’t received a notification yet, you can check for it manually. To update your phone, go to the settings menu, tap on ‘Software Update,’ and then select ‘Download and install.’ This simple process will keep your Galaxy S24 protected with the latest security improvements.
