Samsung recently conducted AI Forum 2023 where the company introduced the robust generative artificial intelligence model – Gauss. Notably, this model is named after the well-known legendary mathematician – Carl Friedrick Gauss who established normal distribution – the backbone of machine learning and AI.
Ahead, the tech giant explained that the new invention consists of three major aspects: Samsung Gauss Language, Samsung Gauss Code, and Samsung Gauss Image. Together, these elements help the model to harness the power of AI and improve the lives of consumers everywhere.
How does the Samsung Gauss generative AI model work?
To understand, how the ultimate mechanism works, it’s important to dive into its specialized components:
Samsung Gauss Language
This is a generative language model that solely works on improving the efficiency of work by facilitating operations. Such as – composing emails, summarizing documents, and translating content. It further enhances the user experience by enabling smarter device control when integrated into products.
Samsung Gauss Code
Accompanied by a coding assistant (code.i), Gauss Code mainly refers to in-house software development to enable developers to code easily and quickly. Also, it supports functions such as code description, and test case generation via an interactive interface.
Samsung Gauss Image
This generative image model can easily generate as well as edit creative images, including style changes and additions, while also converting low-resolution images to high-resolution.
Consequently, this product is currently available for employees. But the firm will soon expand it to more applications and the initiative could be taken with the Galaxy S24 series!
