Talking about the current scenario, the May 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra has arrived with One UI build version S901EXXS4CWD5, S906EXXS4CWD5, and S908EXXS4CWD5 respectively. It further carries an installation package of around 340.59MB.
The latest software update will make the device more effective by improving the core mechanism. In addition, the patch will also maintain the safety and security of the system. It further offers improved protection against dangerous threats, viruses, and other safety-related issues, which can harm the system.
On the other hand, the update also brought fixes for numerous vulnerabilities and exposures, which are seriously affecting the security and privacy of the system. These include 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate levels of CVEs from Google’s Android operating system and 21 SVEs from Samsung’s One UI software.
Other than these common enhancements, there is no new feature mentioned in the changelog. However, the update is rolling out in Brazil at the moment and will expand to more users in the coming days or weeks.
