Apple iPadOS 17 will push several exciting features on board, especially for the Stage Manager. According to the latest leak, the tech maker is preparing new enhancements for a variety of aspects of the iPad devices that will come along with the next upgrade.
As per the inputs shared by a new Apple tipster @analyst941, iPadOS 17 will introduce a bunch of interesting features for the Stage Manager. Alongside, iPad holders will find significant tweaks for the lock screen, customizations, and more.
To those who are unaware, Stage Manager made its debut with iPadOS 16 as a multi-tasking interface. While the approach was quite useful, many Apple fans raised mixed feedback for the respective feature. Thus, it was important to revamp it with better enhancements.
As a part of iPadOS 17, Apple has packed multiple updates for the Stage Manager, which will amplify the overall experience of users with this functionality. Some major inclusions are as follows:
- External monitor webcam support
- Audio output source settings
- Stream Multiple audio/video sources at once with Stage Manager on
- Resizable dock (in external display settings only)
- Sleep iPad display, external display stays on
