Amlogic released the first 8K ultra-high-definition smart set-top box SoC S928X. Amlogic S928X integrates ARM Cortex-A76 and ARM Cortex-A55, as well as a self-developed AI processor, supports 8Kp60 video decoding function of global mainstream video formats such as AV1, H.265, VP9, ​​AVS3, AVS2, supports 4K GUI, AI-SR, and other functions.

The official said that Amlogic S928X performs better for consumers in the environment of 8K ultra-high-definition resolution 7680*4320, 60FPS frame rate, and 10-bit depth colors.
