Sony said that DXD (Digital eXtreme Definition) technology further improves the sampling accuracy of sound signals, and the amount of music information is larger, making the sound heard by listeners more realistic and the user experience more immersive.

According to the relevant person in charge of Sony Selection, the first batch of DXD music on the platform has reached more than a thousand pieces, and the content of the music library will be added in the follow-up. Select Sony Premium members can enjoy this sound quality upgrade for free.

In addition to enjoying DXD music up to 384kHz / 24bit online, Premium members can also listen to 360 live audio content and audiobook content online, enjoy the exchange of listening scenes, and priority registration for fan solicitation activities. Sony Select will launch a 192kHz / 24bit streaming music service in 2020, and the current 384kHz / 24bit will bring higher sound quality.
