The team has been providing feedback to Epic about their experience with Unreal Engine 5, which helps to promote the development of the game on Xbox Series X/S and PC. With their cooperation and early experience with Unreal Engine 5, the Coalition was able to participate well and help optimize and perfect the performance of “The Matrix: Awakening” on Unreal Engine 5.

Since “The Matrix: Awakening” is an extremely large and dense world with an astonishing amount of content, the focus of the Coalition Studio’s work is on memory and performance optimization.

Furthermore, Unreal Engine and Epic Games announced that “The Matrix Awakens: Unreal Engine 5 Experience” is now available for free download on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.

Unreal Engine claims that “The Matrix Awakens: Unreal Engine 5 Experience” is not a game, but the technology demonstration provides a vision for future interactive content: creating colorful and complex cities and environments, as well as realistic and eye-catching movie scenes.
