How the new app layout works in Android 12 (beta)?

The application grid on the phone’s home screen is usually a 4×4, 5×5, or 6×6 grid (or some similar combination).

However, in Android 12 (beta) on Pixel 5, there is a new app grid option that is absolutely interesting at first glance-2×2.

We think it is limited to Pixel phones but hope that other phone manufacturers adopt it, because it is a good accessibility feature for those who need larger application icons.

How to switch to the new app layout?

• Switch to the new 2×2 layout with a long-press on your home screen, then select Styles & Wallpapers> Grid > 2×2.

As Google continues to update the public beta, and we get closer and closer to the official release later this year, we will add more features and discover more features.
