Samsung Galaxy Note 20 getting April 2021 security update in the US

Launched back in 2020, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is the latest flagship series of the Galaxy Note lineup. These devices came pre-installed with the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 and currently operating at the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.1.

These smartphones have recently received a big firmware update that brings huge new camera features and major improvements. Now, the company started to roll out the April 2021 security update that enhances the system security to keep your device protected against threats.

However, the Exynos variants of the Galaxy Note 20 series have not yet received this latest security update in European and Asian markets. We can expect, the company will soon provide April 2021’s security patch to every Note 20 unit globally.

How to check for updates:

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll down to Software updates
  • Then click on download and install
