SpaceX utilized the six-handed Falcon 9 rocket booster to successfully put the 23rd batch of Starlink satellites into orbit. The total number of Starlink satellites in orbit reached 1385.

The launch vehicle lifted off from Launch Pad 40 of the Cape Canaveral Space Station in Florida, and then successfully landed on an unmanned recovery vessel in the Atlantic Ocean.

This is SpaceX’s ninth launch mission in Florida this year, and also the seventh launch this year, and the fourth launch of Starlink satellites this month. The booster number for this launch mission is B1060.

It has performed five missions so far, including launching an upgraded version of GPS-III satellite for the US military, Turkey’s Turksat 5A communications satellite, and three Starlink satellites. This launch also marks the 110th flight of SpaceX’s two-stage Falcon 9 rocket.
