Weilai intends to build 20 Weilai Centers and 120 Weilai Spaces in 2021, with a whole of 366 stores. The monthly production capacity of Weilai has been expanded to 7,500 units, and it plans to achieve a single-shift production capacity of 150,000/double-shift production capacity of 300,000 by the end of the year.

In addition, Weilai will start to deploy second-generation power stations in 2021, and the total number of power stations nationwide will exceed 500. Weilai intends to produce 300 overcharge stations and 10,000 destination charging piles in 2021.

Recently, Weilai’s new second-generation power station was exposed. It is reported that its battery compartment is larger, with a maximum capacity of 13 battery packs and a daily service capacity of up to 312 times that is more than 3 times higher than the first generation.

In addition, the second-generation power station does not need to lift the car to complete the power exchange, only requires to park the car at the designated position. The second-generation swap station is compatible with NIO’s 150kWh battery pack.
