January 2021 security update rolling out for Redmi Note 9T

After MIUI 12.5 was released in China, Xiaomi has recently released it in the international market too. At the same time, the company is now developing MIUI 13, the next version of its Android skin.

According to information, MIUI 13 will enter the market after Google’s Android 12 is released. It is said that the company will also bring a new super wallpaper tool, which will be integrated into MIUI 13, where users can develop their own super wallpaper.

Furthermore, Xiaomi has now begun rolling out the February 2021 Android security patch for its devices. However, there are still many devices that have not yet received the January 2021 security patch, including the recently released Redmi Note 9T.

Meanwhile now, the Chinese OEM has begun sending the update for Redmi Note 9T which mainly installs the January security patch. As usual, this update will improve the security of your device’s system to enhance users’ experience.

Adding to this, the update also fixes the issue that incorrect app data stats were shown on the storage page. Except for this, the official changelog for the update didn’t mention any new features or major changes.
