Nvidia’s RTX 30 series graphics cards have been launched for a long time, the shortage has continued since the release, and the cost of graphics cards has remained high.

As per the news, researcher Michael Driscoll and international media have collected statistics on the sales of graphics cards on the e-commerce platform eBay.

Data shows that from 2021 to the present, a whole of about 15,300 graphics cards have been sold, of which the Nvidia RTX 30 series accounted for 14,000.

Specifically, RTX 3060 Ti sold 3000 pieces, RTX 3070 sold 5400 pieces that are the most popular model. RTX 3080 sold 3400 pieces, and flagship RTX 3090 sold 2300 pieces.

By looking at the price, RTX 3090 and 3080 are slightly lower than the prices when they were first launched, but they are still high. The value of 3090 has been fluctuating above $2,000.

The prices of the RTX 3060 Ti and 3070 released later are relatively stable. The prices of these four graphics cards have all increased slightly since January this year. As the price of digital currency continues to rise, the use of graphics cards for mining has pushed up the price of graphics cards.

The Chinese New Year holiday also affected the production of graphics cards, and work would be suspended for 1 to 2 weeks. AMD’s latest RT6000 series graphics cards are also facing shortages.

This year RX 6900 XT sold only 334 yuan, RX 6800XT sold 448 yuan, RX 6800 sold 434 yuan, and the three models totaled 1216 yuan. Currently, AMD’s new graphics card sales account for only 8%, and it is facing a more severe shortage.
