There have been rumors that Samsung plans to remove the charger and earphones in its smartphone packaging in the coming future. There is now a new report that the company has no plans to add chargers and headsets to its upcoming flagship smartphone series.
The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, and Galaxy S21 Ultra will not include a charger and earphones in the box, at least in the European market. In addition, the report also confirmed that there will be no protective case in the Galaxy S21 box.
Samsung Galaxy S21 series will support 25W fast charging, and some markets may get 25W chargers in the box. The company seems to be developing a 30W USB PD fast charge for the Galaxy S21 series.
Samsung does not provide AKG headsets with the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy Note 20 series in the US, but users can obtain them for free.
Samsung had mocked Apple after Apple announced that it would not include a charger in the iPhone box. However, it seems that the South Korean tech giant will follow in Apple’s footsteps after a few months of mocking Apple.
