Samsung stops One UI 8 beta for Galaxy Watch 4 series

Galaxy Watch 4

Samsung has made a decision to drop the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic versions from its One UI 8 Watch beta program. This implies that the people using these smart watches will never have an opportunity to test the new software before its release. Samsung has not stated explicitly why they made this switch, but it has frustrated several of its Galaxy Watch 4 consumers who had anticipated running around trying out the new features prior to everyone.

The One UI 8 Watch beta was introduced to newer models, such as the Galaxy Watch 6 series, and gave such users an opportunity to test new features and enhancements. Initially, Samsung also added the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic to its beta program, but now these devices also appear off the list. This action implies that Samsung may be interested in making its latest watches have priority access to updates.

Possessing a Galaxy Watch 4 or Watch 4 Classic, you will receive all the official features of One UI 8 Watch once it is thoroughly launched, though you will not get the chance to become a tester. The one thing Samsung has not revealed is whether it would bring the beta back in the future in these watches.

At least, the new functions will be available to the users with Samsung Galaxy Watch models released latest, and in the meantime, others will have to be patient until they receive the final update.
