Samsung SmartThings gets new features and now bar support
The SmartThings app by Samsung has been updated, and it is now even more convenient to operate and has some useful new features. The biggest feature of this update is the support of the Now Bar by Samsung, which will allow turning on and off the smart devices in the house faster and easier.
Now you can access SmartThings controls right in the Now Bar, so it is easy to turn lights and thermostats on and off, and manage other connected devices without launching the main app. This is a particularly convenient feature when you need to change the settings when not at the main screen or when using other applications.
The new version also offers certain enhancements to the interface of the app. The interface has been Declogged and is much easier to navigate and locate your devices. There is also an improved option for device grouping in the update. This has the meaning that you can arrange your smart devices into rooms or groups more easily, and it is simpler to control many devices simultaneously.
