Samsung opens One UI 8 beta for Galaxy S25 in India and also rolls out One UI 8 beta 2 updates

Samsung One UI 8

Samsung has begun the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series in India. This implies that users of Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in India can now test the latest features before the official launch. This beta update is accompanied by the June 2025 security patch, and it is the identical version (ZYF3) that was previously available in South Korea as Beta 2.

In order to participate in the beta, users must open the Samsung Members app, log in, and tap the One UI 8 beta banner. Once enrolled, the update will be available to download by visiting Settings > Software Update > Download and install.

One UI 8.0 Beta 2 update includes numerous refinements and bug fixes based on the feedback received from early testers. Samsung has also gone to ensure that the system is more stable and reliable and thus users are expected to experience improved performance upon updating. It is nearly 3.6GB in size and contains not just new features but also critical security patches.

Samsung is rushing through with these updates. There are rumors that the stable build of One UI 8, which will rely on Android 16, may come out shortly after the official announcement, which might happen at the beginning of July. That would make the Galaxy S25 series the first to receive the new software, shortly after the beta period is over.

By providing these updates, Samsung is not only looking to provide Galaxy S25 users with a smoother and safer experience but is also getting ready to roll out new features and improvements in the months ahead.
