Samsung Galaxy phones get new software and security updates in India
Changes to the newest software are being distributed by Samsung to Galaxy users in India. With these updates, we add new features, improve safety and make using the operating system smoother. Samsung is releasing Android 15 with One UI 7 for the Galaxy M14.
The update is about 2.7GB and provides the May 2025 monthly security improvements. Firmware version M145FXXU7DYE2 is included in this update. This update tackles problems and protects your phone from various dangers. Head to your phone’s Settings, find Software Update and then select Download and install.
Meanwhile, Galaxy M13 is likely to receive an update that’s not the same. Only the latest May 2025 security patch is available now. The new update does not have any new software improvements, but it provides increased security. This release is not as big as the one seen with the M14.
In addition, the Android 15-powered One UI 7 update is rolling out in India for the Galaxy A53 5G. This update gives the A53 5G all the same features and security upgrades as the M14. Model SM-A536E users outside the US can access the update.
