Samsung brings One UI 7 update to more Galaxy phones in India

In India, Samsung is releasing the One UI 7 version, built on top of Android 15, to a number of Galaxy phones. Now, the Galaxy A73, Galaxy A54 and Galaxy F54 can enjoy the update, bringing them a new style and useful new features.
What are the updates in one ui 7?
- The update includes a new look for the app icons, improved animation, and new ways to customize both home and lock screen widgets.
- Notifications and the Quick Panel have been split so you can find them more easily. You’ll notice notifications are larger and look like pill bubbles and you can open the Quick Panel by swiping from the top right.
- Now, Bar is something new that appears on the lock screen as a continuous readout of whatever is happening now—music or exercise details.
- Both new features and a tidier appearance have been added to a number of Samsung apps. In Modes and Routines, you have more things to explore and Google’s Gemini AI can be the primary assistant on specific handsets.
- The Galaxy A54, A73 and F54 receive better security with the May 2025 update, helping ward off new threats to your phone.
How do you update your phone?
For Galaxy A73, A54 or F54, you can check for an update in Settings > Software update > Download and install in India. It’s important to have your phone charged to at least 30% before you update it.
Other updates
The Galaxy S21 FE will receive the May 2025 security update, which addresses any security matters and improves the phone’s performance.
Samsung is ensuring that a larger percentage of users on Galaxy devices receive new features and better protection.
