Quick Share will soon work in cars with Google built-in

It is about to get even simpler to transfer files using Samsung’s Quick Share tool. Before long, you’ll have the option to use Quick Share in cars with Google on board. So, if Google’s software powers your car system, sharing media or files from your phone to your car will be instant.
Google announced this brand-new feature at the Google I/O 2024 conference. Later this year, cars with Google built-in will have access to Quick Share, according to Google. After this update, drivers and passengers can simply access and use each other’s playlists, navigate to new places and more, without any wires.
Sending files has become easy for Samsung Galaxy users, thanks to Quick Share between phones, tablets and laptops. Now, through Samsung and Google’s collaboration with cars, you can move files easily between the devices in your life and the vehicle. It’s especially practical when families or friends wish to enjoy media during a journey.
Your car must have Google built-in, a feature introduced on some Volvo, Polestar and other’ new models. When the update finishes, all you have to do to share files with your car is tap a button on your phone.
