Samsung starts teasing One UI 8 beta launch

Samsung One UI 8

Samsung is starting to give out details about the upcoming One UI 8 beta program. Samsung Members app in South Korea is displaying a banner saying “One UI Beta Program” with a beta symbol in blue. Although the version number isn’t specified, it most likely means One UI 8.

The upcoming One UI 8 will work with Android 15 and will initially be available only as a beta version for the Galaxy S24 series. After testing in South Korea, Samsung often opens beta programs to countries including the United States, Germany, India and China.

Although the video didn’t mention when players can join the beta, it does confirm it is coming soon. Usually, Samsung tests its new One UI versions months before the official launch. Since Android 15 is still in the works at Google, we might see Samsung’s One UI 8 beta sometime in the summer.

Once the One UI 8 beta is available, people with Samsung devices will likely enjoy some fresh features and a new look from Android 15. Experts believe that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive this new software upgrade. Samsung teased the upcoming beta launch of One UI 8 and, if everything moves forward as planned, people can start testing it in the coming few months.
