Samsung rolls out One UI 7 for more Galaxy A phones

Samsung is taking big steps toward launching Android 15 with One UI 7. Galaxy A25, Galaxy A16 and Galaxy A73 are now being updated with the newest software. The Galaxy A25 is starting to receive One UI 7 in Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. You will find the new update with firmware A256EXXU3BXE3 and the latest security patch from May 2025.
Another phone joining the list is the Galaxy A16, running Android 15. Many users in Asia have been given the update, delivering a new interface, better functions and higher standards for privacy. The addition of 50MP AF cameras in the A16 is a great sign that Samsung is giving budget users more.
At the same time, the Galaxy A73, which debuted last year, is being updated to Android 15 and One UI 7. Customers in Malaysia can use it now and it will soon be available in other parts of Asia. The new release increases device speed, introduces helpful new tools and uses the latest May 2025 security update.
If you are not seeing the update for your phone, visit the settings, Software update option and choose Download and install. More Samsung phones are expected to receive One UI 7 in the weeks ahead. As a result of the update, users can enjoy less interference, more choices for setting up their phones and increased battery longevity on all Galaxy devices.
