Samsung’s Foldable and Watch plans hint at higher prices and new features

Although Samsung plans to release its first tri-fold phone later this year, it could be expensive and only offered to a small number of users. Sources say the price for the next foldable could be around $2,000 or even higher, which could make it costlier than current models such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Some markets may only get the game when it is launched, while others will have to wait before they can play it.
With the tri-fold phone, users are expected to benefit from an unfolded screen wider than most current models. On the other hand, since meeting these requirements will be challenging, the phone may be launched in a few regions at first.
Meanwhile, Samsung will update its choices for wearables. In the upcoming Wear OS 6, Facer app support is coming back to the Galaxy Watch lineup, a feature many fans have waited for. The app was cut when Tizen became Wear OS, but it will return with the new update.
Wear OS 6, expected to come from Samsung, should launch with the Galaxy Watch 7 later in 2022. The update will turn the Galaxy Watch into a more entertaining device for anyone who likes to personalize their watch faces.
In general, this year, Samsung is putting importance on innovation and allowing customers to choose, but prices could rise and its new technologies may roll out more slowly.
