One UI 8 beta is coming soon with new features

Samsung One UI 8

The next One UI beta program will launch on Android 16 for Samsung devices. Information released recently reports that beta testing will begin in June 2025. Similar to past years, Galaxy S24 series users in South Korea will get the beta first from Samsung.

Android 16’s new features will arrive with the One UI 8 update, as well as Samsung’s upgrades. Among the upcoming features in Android 16 are better-performing apps, more security and better battery life. Samsung is also expected to share new looks and enhanced AI features that make using a phone more accessible.

The next phase is to roll out the beta in South Korea and then take it to the United States, Germany, India and China. Eligible Galaxy phones receive beta updates later, with flagship models getting them first.

A year ago, the One UI 6 beta alongside Android 14 was released in August. Samsung appears to be moving much more rapidly in getting Android 16 and One UI 8 ready this year. The official version of One UI 8 will be rolled out in fall, likely in October or November. If you’ve got a Galaxy S24 and are in one of the specified regions, you can join the beta through the Samsung Members app soon after it launches.
