New Always On Display update rolls out to One UI 7 phones

Samsung

Samsung is now activating an AOD update for Galaxy gadgets running One UI 7. With this update, the feature runs more smoothly and stably.

You can find the new version 8.8.98 of AOD in the Galaxy Store. Its primary goal is to address issues and improve the experience with the always-on screen mode. The newest version of the app does not introduce new features, but it improves the way AOD functions on certain Galaxy devices.

To check for an update on the AOD screen when your device has One UI 7, launch the Galaxy Store, click the menu and select “Updates.” Should you see the Always On Display listed, simply choose to “Update” it to install it.

With Always On Display, you can find out the time, check the date, see how much battery your phone has and view your notifications without needing to touch the screen. Thanks to this update, Samsung is improving performance on the latest Galaxy phones.

Samsung keeps updating its apps like AOD so that users can have a better experience and solve any minor issues. The new update is following the same direction, focusing more on processes that improve the system’s performance instead of adding new options.

It helps to install updates as soon as they are available if you want your device to work well.
