Galaxy A56 gets new Gemini features with May 2025 update in Europe

The Galaxy A56 in Europe is now receiving its May 2025 update. This latest update makes the phone more secure and offers Samsung and Google’s latest AI features, too. The device’s firmware was updated to A566BXXU1AXD7 and the update carries the May 2025 security patch. So far, it’s just available in Europe, but soon it will be offered in other locations, too.
The highlight of this update includes introducing Gemini AI. This means users of the Galaxy A56 phone can now use Chat Assist to have help adjusting how they write and Live Translate to receive instant voice and message translations during any calls they make. These technologies are designed to help communication become more efficient.
Users can now point at anything displayed on the screen with their finger and use Searchology to find more about it without needing to change to a different app. As a result, searching is both easier and faster.
Samsung has been giving Galaxy AI features to mid-range phones, and the Galaxy A56 is receiving those updates too. If you have this device in Europe, go to Settings, select Software update and click Download and install. With this rollout, Samsung is expanding its use of AI to help more users make their daily work more convenient.
