Samsung’s app quietly hid the One UI 8 beta banner

Samsung has, by accident, made public the upcoming One UI 8 beta testing program through an update to the Samsung Members app. In v5.0.00.11, users spotted a secret area in the app’s code that points to the “One UI 8 Beta Program”. This proves that Samsung is currently working to bring out its next major software update.
The banner is not something regular users can see, but it is there underneath the app. The well-known tipster found a hidden beta banner that spells out the availability of the One UI 8 beta. A new design for banners may be included in future announcements, according to the app update.
The banner isn’t being shown on any Samsung phone at this time, as it’s been hidden by the company. As the feature is in the code, we could see the beta launch possibly in the near future, likely with the Galaxy S24 devices first in Korea, the USA, and Germany.
Normally, Samsung’s beta testing starts about a few months ahead of the full release, and the appearance of this banner suggests that the One UI 8 beta might be coming soon. New features are coming to Galaxy phones, as they will receive this Android 15-based update.
In other words, Samsung is getting ready for One UI 8, and the presence of the banner suggests testing is about to start. Keep an eye on the news, since the beta may start earlier than scheduled.
