Galaxy A53 starts getting May 2025 update ahead of One UI 7
Samsung is now sending out the May 2025 security update to the Galaxy A53. The update has recently gone live for users in India. Its main job is to improve both security and performance, so your phone runs effectively and securely.
The latest update uses A536EXXS9EXE1 as its software version and contains the Android security patch for May of 2025. It doesn’t introduce any significant features, but it does take care of bugs and improve the stability of the device. It is especially notable for anyone who was holding out for the next big update.
Samsung is getting ready to roll out the One UI 7 update that will be built on Android 15 in the coming months. Since the Galaxy A53 comes under support, it will still get Android 14 and One UI 7 as planned by Samsung. However, the update in May 2025 is not linked to One UI 7 and mainly focuses on security until the bigger update is released.
