Galaxy S25 FE could come with Exynos 2400e chip, early test results surface

Samsung seems to be working on the Galaxy S25 FE, and the first details about its processor have appeared online. A new benchmark listing shows a device running the Exynos 2400E chip, which could be used in this upcoming phone.
The tested device had the model number SM-S721B, likely linked to the Galaxy S25 FE. It used an Exynos 2400E processor—this is a slightly different version of the Exynos 2400 found in the Galaxy S24 series. While the main Exynos 2400 has 10 cores, this new “E” version has only 8 cores. It features one Cortex-X4 core, three Cortex-A720 cores, and four Cortex-A520 cores, but skips the extra A720 cores seen in the original version.
The phone was also shown running Android 14 with 8GB of RAM. In Geekbench 6 tests, it scored 2,047 in single-core and 6,289 in multi-core performance. These numbers are similar to the regular Exynos 2400.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE in late 2023, using the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, depending on the region. The S25 FE might follow a similar strategy, offering Exynos or Snapdragon chips based on where it’s sold. However, since it’s still early, these details could change by launch time.
In short, it looks like the Galaxy S25 FE could use a lighter version of the Exynos 2400 chip, but still offer strong performance.
