One UI 6.5 Watch

Samsung is now releasing a new software update for its Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, and Watch 5 FE models. This update is available for users in the US, with more countries likely to get it soon.

The latest May 2025 update brings better system stability and improved security. The update includes the May 2025 security patch to protect the watches from known threats and bugs.

The update for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro comes with firmware version ending in CXE2, while the Galaxy Watch 5 FE’s version ends in CXE3. These updates are mainly focused on performance improvements, and no new features have been added.

If you own one of these watches, you can check for the update through the Galaxy Wearable app. Just open the app, go to Watch Settings, and tap on Watch Software Update. Then click on Download and Install.

It’s a good idea to keep your device up to date. Even if the update doesn’t bring new features, it helps make your watch more secure and stable.

Samsung is expected to continue releasing monthly updates to keep its wearables running smoothly and safely.
