Galaxy S25 may get front camera log video support

Samsung could bring a big upgrade to the front camera of its upcoming Galaxy S25 series. According to new findings, Samsung might add log video recording support to the front camera in the next Galaxy flagship phones. This feature is already available for the rear cameras in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, offering more control over colors during editing.
Log video recording is a tool often used by video creators because it gives a flat color profile. This helps when editing videos, as it allows for better color grading and more professional-looking results. If Samsung adds this feature to the front camera, it would be a major step forward for vloggers, content creators, and anyone who shoots high-quality videos using the selfie camera.
Right now, the Galaxy S24 Ultra only supports log video recording on its rear cameras, not the front. The camera app even shows a message saying that this feature is not available for the front camera. However, future One UI updates or new models like the Galaxy S25 might change that.
As Samsung continues to improve camera features, the front camera on the Galaxy S25 could become more useful for serious video recording. While this feature hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, signs suggest it could arrive soon. If added, it would show that Samsung is paying attention to the needs of mobile creators who want better tools right on their phones.
