Galaxy Z Fold 7 mockup shows thinner and taller design than Fold 6

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 may look noticeably different from last year’s Fold6, according to a new mockup shared by tipster Ice Universe. The design shows a taller and slimmer foldable phone, suggesting Samsung is making small but meaningful changes.
The mockup, based on real size and screen ratio, shows that the Fold7 will be slightly narrower and a bit taller than the Fold6. When folded, the Fold7 seems to have a more rectangular shape compared to the slightly wider Fold6. This change could make the outer screen easier to use, especially for typing and one-handed use.
Another notable difference is the redesigned rear camera layout. Instead of three separated camera circles like the Fold6, the Fold7 might have a more compact camera module. While details on camera specs are still unknown, this design tweak could help make the phone look more polished. Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold7 in July 2025 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. Alongside it, the Galaxy Z Flip7 and other new devices are also likely to appear.
While nothing is official yet, the leak suggests that Samsung is refining the foldable experience, not with big overhauls, but with careful improvements in usability and appearance. Would you like a side-by-side comparison image of the mockup versus the current Fold6 design?
